The 45th International Film Festival is coming soon to the shores of Goa. Last years promise by the current chief minister , Mr Manohar Parikkar of a permanent venue may not yet have come true but the one good thing that this festival has bought to Goa is the fact that we goans now have one more extra occasion to celebrate and attract more tourists to this sunny state.

It has also been rumored that Asian film festival will be clubbed and cohosted at the same location along with IFFI. Another interesting fact is that IFFI is the longest running festival of its kind in india which runs for 11 days and has one of the largest number of delegates registering for it. This year the number of delegates is touted to touch 12000 odd..
